About the role
The Director of Ecommerce and Digital Marketing will lead all online revenue streams for the hotel, shaping strategy and executing tactics that drive bookings across rooms, F&B, MICE, spa and ancillary services. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role works closely with the Revenue Director to ensure alignment across all channels.
Key responsibilities
- Define yearly ecommerce revenue targets for direct and indirect channels.
- Develop and manage the digital budget and yearly plan covering SEO, OTA, email and social media.
- Oversee design, functionality and SEO optimisation of the hotel website(s).
- Manage relationships with OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) and optimise listings, sponsored ads and visibility tools.
- Create and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, content, email and social media.
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital assets.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyse data and adjust strategies to improve conversion.
- Handle online reputation management and coordinate with guest relations to address feedback.
