Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the hotel's revenue generation, develop strategic sales plans and ensure the sales team delivers measurable business outcomes. This senior position works closely with the General Manager and commercial team to drive topline growth and enhance market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement revenue and sales strategies to drive topline revenues, GOP, RevPAR, ADR and other key performance metrics.
• Lead the sales team, set goals, produce forecasts, and coordinate sales and marketing activities to increase market share.
• Engage with the IHG RFP program, maintain key account relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Produce monthly reports, monitor market trends and ensure GDPR‑compliant client data management.
• Collaborate with marketing, reservations, M&E, front office and finance teams to align sales initiatives with the Integrated Business Plan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Commerce (or equivalent international degree).
• 3‑5 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience with direct line‑management responsibility.
• Proven track record in revenue management, channel management and developing strategic sales plans.

Required skills

• Experience with sales management and reporting platforms.
• Strong influencing, decision‑making and leadership abilities.
