Director, Worldwide Tax

About the role

This senior leadership position oversees a global tax function for a fast‑growing, acquisition‑oriented technology organization. The role is based in Saudi Arabia with a remote work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead worldwide tax function covering U.S., international, transfer pricing and indirect taxes.
• Develop and execute global tax strategies to manage cash taxes, effective tax rate and compliance.
• Provide senior tax advice to CFO and finance leadership on transactions and material tax matters.
• Oversee tax planning, cross‑border structuring, M&A due diligence and integration across multiple jurisdictions.
• Build a technology‑enabled tax function using AI, automation and analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience with strong U.S. corporate and international tax knowledge.
• Experience in multinational organizations, transfer pricing, M&A tax due diligence and post‑acquisition integration.
• Public‑accounting background, preferably Big Four, is a plus.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of U.S. federal tax, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits and ASC 740.
• Transfer pricing documentation and intercompany arrangements.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with CCH Axcess / ProSystem fx Tax, Sage Intacct or comparable tax/ERP platforms.
• Experience applying AI, automation or analytics in tax or finance.
