Executive Director – Finance (Sports, Arts & Culture)

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary Executive Director – Finance to lead financial operations for its sports, performing arts and culture portfolio. The role will shape financial strategy, ensure robust budgeting and drive performance across a diverse set of projects aimed at creating a world‑class destination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, analysis and strategy for sports, arts and cultural initiatives, aligning with Qiddiya’s overall vision.
• Develop and implement business finance strategies that support operational needs while maximising ROI.
• Oversee budgeting processes, allocate resources effectively and monitor performance against targets.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Identify financial risks, design mitigation measures and coordinate with legal and compliance teams.
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, setting clear objectives and fostering continuous improvement.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, to support project financing and partnership opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in large‑scale, multi‑project environments.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to advise executive teams and influence strategic decisions.
• Experience working with sports, performing arts or cultural projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
