About the role

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a charismatic Food & Beverage Hostess to be the welcoming face of its dining venues. The role involves creating a warm first impression, managing seating flow and delivering personalized service in line with luxury and Forbes standards. You will play a key part in ensuring every guest experiences exceptional hospitality from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, creating an exceptional first impression.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently and accurately.
• Escort guests to their tables ensuring a seamless and elegant seating experience.
• Coordinate table flow with service and kitchen teams to maximise efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor restaurant readiness, cleanliness, ambience, and presentation standards throughout service.
• Handle guest inquiries, seating preferences, and special requests professionally.
• Communicate table status, guest needs, and VIP arrivals to the F&B team.
• Assist during peak dining periods to minimise wait times and optimise guest experience.
• Maintain accurate reservation records using the restaurant management system.
• Support VIP recognition and deliver personalised guest experiences.
• Address guest concerns calmly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Uphold grooming, presentation, and luxury service standards at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a host/hostess in a luxury food & beverage environment (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, engaging personality.
• Excellent organisational abilities and multitasking capability in a fast‑paced setting.
• Professional appearance and grooming consistent with luxury hospitality standards.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while delivering exceptional service.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
