Front Line Production Assistant Manager

About the role

The Front Line Production Assistant Manager will oversee the packaging line, ensuring the production plan is executed efficiently while maintaining high product quality and optimal manpower utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow the production plan for each shift, meeting schedule targets.
• Supervise operators and packers, verifying correct execution of tasks.
• Provide training and refresher sessions for all sub‑team members at least once a year.
• Drive line improvements and cost‑saving initiatives within the team.
• Monitor and report line efficiency and material efficiency against departmental targets.
• Evaluate performance of subordinates and conduct regular performance reviews.

Required profile

• Experience in supervising a packaging or production line.
• Strong focus on quality, efficiency and cost control.
• Ability to train and develop operators and packers.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with shift teams and management.

Required skills

• Knowledge of packaging machine operation.
• Ability to conduct training on equipment usage.
• Understanding of line efficiency metrics.
