About the role
Energia is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented General Accountant to join its Finance team in Riyadh. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, performing reconciliations, and helping ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Prepare and perform regular bank reconciliations
- Assist with VAT, Withholding Tax, and statutory reporting requirements
- Record financial transactions and maintain accounting documentation
- Support daily finance operations in line with company policies
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
- Active membership with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA)
- Fluency in English
- Excellent numerical, analytical, documentation, and organizational abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Required skills
- Experience with ERP or accounting software
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
