GRE Field Technician – Dammam 2nd Industrial City

About the role

The GRE Field Technician will support GRE lining operations and tubular running services at on‑shore and off‑shore sites across Saudi Arabia. The role involves inspection, reporting and coordination with production and tuboscope teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor tubular running services for GRE TK lining and installation.
• Perform inspections at customer locations and compile daily reports using NOV databases.
• Support lining production and tuboscope departments when not engaged in RIH activities.
• Ensure equipment is used safely according to manufacturer guidelines and report any deficiencies.
• Follow QA, HSE, and company procedures; maintain housekeeping standards.
• Report daily progress to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• High school graduate; diploma in mechanical engineering is desirable.
• Exposure to drilling rig/hoist operations.
• Certification in magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, visual, electromagnetic, and ultrasonic wall‑thickness testing.
• Experience with OCTG and GRE lining operations.
• Ability to read and interpret inspection procedures in English.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
