Head of Fulfillment

About the role

The Head of Fulfillment will lead high‑volume B2C eCommerce fulfillment operations across multiple sites. This senior leadership position is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring service quality, and meeting performance targets in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end fulfillment operations across several warehouse locations.
• Manage large teams, set clear accountability, and maintain high productivity.
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs, service levels, inventory accuracy, and order processing performance.
• Optimize warehouse processes, workflows, labor productivity, and capacity to support growth.
• Oversee the effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation technologies.
• Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Identify gaps and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across processes, technology, and workforce management.
• Collaborate with commercial, customer, technology, and operational teams to align fulfillment capacity with business needs.
• Address operational issues promptly to maintain service levels and customer experience.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of experience in eCommerce fulfillment operations.
• Proven track record managing high‑volume B2C fulfillment centers.
• Direct experience leading large‑scale fulfillment teams and multiple sites.
• Background with an eCommerce retailer or eCommerce‑focused 3PL is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with warehouse automation technologies.
• Expertise in inventory accuracy and labor productivity management.
• Ability to define, track, and improve fulfillment KPIs.
