HSE Inspector (Saudi National) - Airport Experience

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm active in the Middle East, is looking for a detail-oriented HSE Inspector to join its team at an airport facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The inspector ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across all airport operations, identifies hazards and implements corrective measures to protect the workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive HSE inspections and audits of terminals, cargo areas, maintenance hangars and ground operations zones
• Identify, document and analyse hazards in line with Saudi HSE regulations and international aviation safety standards
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses and recommend preventive measures
• Write detailed inspection reports and audit findings, documenting non-conformances and corrective actions
• Work with department heads to build and run safety improvement programmes and deliver safety training and awareness sessions
• Maintain records of inspections, audits and corrective actions and liaise with regulators and external auditors

Required profile

• At least 4 years of HSE inspection experience in airport operations or aviation-related environments; aviation experience preferred
• Knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and international aviation safety standards
• Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience
• Preferred: professional HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent)
• Preferred: experience mentoring and training staff on HSE best practices
