Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager leads the organization’s internal audit function, ensuring robust internal controls, effective risk management, and strong governance. This senior position develops and executes risk‑based audit plans, conducts audits across financial, operational, compliance and IT areas, and reports findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive, risk‑based internal audit plan.
• Perform financial, operational, compliance and IT audits, identifying control gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare clear, actionable audit reports and present findings to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Monitor remediation actions and follow‑up on audit recommendations.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the internal audit team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA or an equivalent.
• 10+ years of internal audit experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication abilities.
