K-9 Trainer – Military Working Dog Specialist

About the role

ITA International is seeking a K‑9 Trainer to support the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron in Saudi Arabia. The role involves planning, delivering and documenting training for Military Working Dogs (MWD) to ensure base security across multiple locations in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct and document all MWD training, maintaining team proficiency.
• Assist the kennel master with dog care, feeding, kennel maintenance and transport.
• Coordinate training and duty schedules for all MWDs and maintain administrative, accountability and medical records.
• Manage storage, inventory and accountability of training aids and act as equipment custodian for accountable assets.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience providing MWD team training.
• Graduate of the Department of Defense Kennel Masters course.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a government‑issued license.
• Secret security clearance and ability to pass CENTCOM medical screening.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of U.S. Air Force Equipment Custodian processes (desired).
