Logistics & Supply Chain Operations Lead

About the role

BRKZ, a Saudi construction-tech startup, is hiring a Logistics & Supply Chain Operations Lead based in Jeddah. The role oversees regional fulfillment, fleet dispatch and supply chain execution across the Western Province, bridging local ground operations with central teams in Riyadh HQ. It covers high-volume bulk cement logistics, transporter networks and KSA regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily logistics and dispatch operations in Jeddah and supervise the regional operations team, coordinating warehouse, fleet and fulfillment activities.
• Act as the main link between the Jeddah team and central teams (Riyadh HQ, product, sales, procurement, finance).
• Oversee the full delivery lifecycle: scheduling, transporter assignment and on-time order closure, including multi-truck bulk cement orders and special large-quantity deliveries.
• Keep Fasah permits, delivery notes and transport cost entries accurate and complete.
• Analyse workflows, improve processes and control costs, and build SOPs and operational guidelines.
• Promote new tools and automation such as unified delivery schedules, AI-assisted workflows and bulk assignment features.
• Track regional KPIs and dashboards (e.g. Metabase) to report to leadership, forecast demand and plan resources.
• Mentor and train coordinators and helpers, run regular team meetings and coordinate staffing and schedules.
• Build relationships with suppliers, transporters and service providers, resolve delivery delays and quality issues, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare for audits and inspections, and contribute to operational strategy, budgeting and cost savings.

Required profile

• 8-10 years of operations experience, preferably in logistics/supply chain; construction or building materials experience strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership of distributed field teams.
• Excellent communication in Arabic and English.
• Knowledge of KSA transport regulations, permits (e.g. Fasah) and the Western Province logistics landscape.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah.
