Medical Scientific Liaison – Oncology

About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) – Oncology will act as a scientific bridge between AstraZeneca and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in Saudi Arabia. This field‑based position focuses on delivering up‑to‑date medical information, supporting clinical studies, and fostering scientific leadership for AstraZeneca’s oncology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver AstraZeneca’s medical information to HCPs through various communication channels.
• Plan, execute, and monitor clinical studies to meet quality, cost, and timeline standards.
• Provide ongoing monitoring services for active studies, from outline receipt to final report.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key oncology experts.
• Deliver medical education and clinical support to medical professionals and train sales teams.
• Contribute to brand strategy development and review of product materials.
• Handle adverse event reporting in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Field‑based professional with strong scientific background in oncology.
• Ability to build deep scientific understanding of AstraZeneca compounds.
• Experience delivering medical education and supporting clinical research.
