Packaging Material Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Packaging Material Planner to ensure the seamless flow of packaging supplies for our manufacturing operations. You will develop replenishment plans, monitor inventory, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to guarantee material availability while minimizing excess stock.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute packaging material replenishment plans based on production and demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain safety stocks, and avoid over‑stocking.
• Manage both locally sourced and imported packaging materials, accounting for lead times and supply constraints.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers to secure material availability.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, and potential production stoppages.
• Track slow‑moving, aging, and at‑risk inventory and implement corrective actions.
• Support S&OP and demand review processes with material availability assessments.
• Maintain planning parameters, reorder points, and master data accuracy.
• Track supplier delivery performance and escalate critical issues.
• Drive inventory optimisation and working‑capital improvement initiatives.
• Prepare periodic reports and KPIs on inventory, service levels, aging, and material availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, supply planning, inventory management or supply‑chain planning.
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing and managing packaging materials is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
