Parts Man - Automotive Dealership Warehouse

About the role

The Parts Man handles, stores, picks, packs and dispatches genuine automotive parts within the dealership warehouse. The role keeps inventory accurate, supports workshop efficiency and ensures parts are available for service operations, retail customers and inter-branch needs. It involves disciplined, accurate and physically active work, including safe handling of high-value, fragile and high-voltage components.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts shipments, check quantities, part numbers and condition against purchase orders and delivery notes, and report discrepancies, shortages, damage or incorrect deliveries to the Parts Supervisor
• Bin parts by location using FIFO and OEM storage requirements, and store fragile parts, fluids, batteries, tyres, lubricants and hazardous materials safely
• Handle high-voltage battery components and sensitive parts using approved safety procedures and protective equipment
• Pick parts for repair orders, retail sales, body shop needs and inter-branch transfers, verify them before dispatch and package securely
• Dispatch parts on time with delivery documentation and proof of dispatch, and support urgent workshop needs
• Run daily cycle counts and support stock takes, and report damaged, expired, obsolete or slow-moving stock
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation and 5S standards, and operate forklifts, pallet jacks and trolleys safely
• Follow HSE procedures, OEM standards, customs regulations and audit requirements

Required profile

• High school certificate or vocational diploma; logistics, warehouse or supply chain certification is an advantage
• 1-3 years of experience in a parts warehouse, automotive dealership or logistics environment; genuine automotive spare parts experience strongly preferred
• Basic Arabic and English reading and writing

Required skills

• Working knowledge of warehouse management modules in DMS, ERP or WMS platforms
• Forklift certification highly preferred
• Barcode scanning, stock movement processes and warehouse documentation
• Ability to read and verify part numbers, pick lists and shipping documents
