Part‑Time Consultant Hematology Physician

About the role

The part‑time Consultant Hematology physician will deliver specialised, evidence‑based care to patients with blood and blood‑forming organ disorders at Bupa Arabia’s ICC clinic. Working on‑site during scheduled clinic sessions, the role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and follow‑up for acute and chronic hematological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive in‑person hematology consultations, including history taking, physical examination, laboratory review and development of individualized management plans.
• Coordinate with full‑time clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care, apply population‑health principles and manage referrals, anticoagulation therapy and follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record to support seamless handover and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine and board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship certification in Hematology and SCFHS registration as a Hematology Consultant.
• Minimum three years of clinical practice in hematology, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Experience with anticoagulation monitoring and management.
