Principal Specialist Business Planning

About the role

The Principal Specialist Business Planning will lead and govern the business planning processes across all units of Ma’aden, ensuring accuracy, transparency and compliance at a group finance level. This role acts as the champion for Oracle Planning systems, driving automation, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and govern planning and reporting across the Group Finance function, ensuring consistency and alignment.
• Support and enhance group-wide consolidation processes for budgets, forecasts and the five‑year plan.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and reconciliation of consolidated financial planning outputs.
• Champion Oracle Planning system enhancements, automation and adoption across the organization.
• Drive best‑in‑class forecasting and budgeting processes with clear timetables and delivery discipline.
• Engage and influence finance and budget owners to meet planning cycle timelines and quality standards.
• Develop advanced scenario planning and prepare for future AI‑enabled planning capabilities.
• Provide robust challenge on assumptions, KPIs and key financial drivers.
• Deliver insightful analysis and storytelling for management and board presentations.
• Partner with audit, risk and compliance to ensure governance and reporting integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or an MBA from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting or related finance functions.

Required skills

• Oracle Planning (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning) expertise.
