Project Engineer I – Mining Solutions

About the role

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is looking for a Project Engineer I to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of technical mining projects. The role blends engineering expertise with project management to ensure deployments are on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to deploy mining systems efficiently.
• Provide hands‑on support for product and project deployment, including onsite installation.
• Support and maintain software, deliver customizations, and implement system configurations using scripting tools.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and manage escalations to technical teams.
• Report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
• Collaborate with sales in pre‑sales activities and deliver technical presentations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of current and upcoming product offerings and industry technologies.
