Project Manager – Engineering & Construction Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering and construction projects, ensuring they meet specifications, budget, schedule, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, objectives, timelines, and allocate resources.
• Prepare detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical) and monitor performance against milestones.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, financial forecasts and implement cost‑control measures.
• Oversee contract administration, negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, and supervise procurement.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC, health, safety, and environmental policies, conducting regular inspections.
• Identify risks, devise mitigation strategies, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Maintain communication with clients, consultants, contractors and regulatory bodies, preparing progress reports and chairing project meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional certification such as PMP is highly desirable.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in engineering or construction project management.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale, complex projects.
