Risk Management Lead

About the role

Gathern is hiring a Risk Management Lead in Riyadh to strengthen the enterprise risk posture. The role identifies, assesses and mitigates strategic, operational, financial and regulatory risks so that decisions are risk-informed and business continuity is ensured.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct enterprise risk assessments and maintain risk registers
• Develop risk mitigation plans and monitor their implementation
• Analyse risks for new initiatives and projects
• Support business continuity and incident response planning
• Prepare risk reports for leadership and governance committees, and executive dashboards for the CEO and the Audit Committee
• Promote a risk-aware culture across departments
• Develop, maintain and improve the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, methodologies, tools and templates
• Develop, monitor and review the organisation's Risk Appetite, Risk Tolerance and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Lead Business Continuity Management, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and take part in crisis management
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of ERM practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance or a related field
• 5-7 years in risk management or internal control
• Experience implementing or enhancing ERM frameworks and conducting enterprise-wide risk assessments
• Exposure to risk appetite framework development and experience preparing risk reports for senior leadership
• Preferred: experience in technology companies, digital platforms or fast-growing organisations
• Preferred: ISO 31000 or equivalent risk management certification

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of ISO 31000 and COSO ERM frameworks
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance risk environments
