Sales Manager – Pre-Opening Resort

About the role

Basiqat by Mantis, a luxury eco-resort in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is in its pre-opening phase and is looking for a Sales Manager to join its pre-opening team. The role reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and drives business growth and revenue across the corporate, group and leisure segments, building strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan targeting the assigned segment, focusing on corporate, group and leisure business.
• Identify new clients and nurture existing accounts to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
• Hold regular sales calls, client meetings and presentations to showcase the resort's offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements aligned with hotel objectives.
• Represent the resort at trade shows, industry events and roadshows in the region.
• Work with Marketing and Revenue Management to create customised packages and promotions.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and regional economic factors and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Prepare and present sales reports, including revenue forecasts, pipeline updates and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Front Office and Operations to ensure smooth bookings and guest service.
• Train and mentor junior sales team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on the market.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in corporate, group and leisure sales.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to travel frequently within the region and work non-standard hours.

Required skills

• CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
