About the role
The Self Supervisory Unit (SSU) Officer will join Deutsche Bank's Regulations, Compliance and Anti Financial Crime division in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Head of Compliance/MLRO, the officer will handle requests from the Special Enforcement Division of the Saudi Central Bank and ensure the bank operates in line with SSU regulations and KOPS.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process requests from the Special Enforcement Division of the Saudi Central Bank.
- Maintain compliance with Self Supervisory Unit regulations and internal KOPS.
- Report activities and findings to the Head of Compliance/MLRO.
- Support the bank’s anti‑money laundering, counter‑terrorist financing, sanctions, anti‑bribery and fraud prevention programmes.
- Assist in monitoring and updating regulatory and political risk assessments.
Required profile
- Saudi national (only Saudi citizens will be considered).
- Minimum of 24 months (2 years) experience in compliance, anti‑financial crime or related fields.
- Ability to obtain SAMA approval prior to commencing duties.
- Strong analytical mindset and knowledge of Saudi regulatory environment.
