Senior Civil & Transportation Engineer

About the role

Hill International is seeking a Senior Civil & Transportation Engineer to lead multidisciplinary design reviews for a high‑profile infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure that highway, drainage, structural and geotechnical solutions meet Saudi Highway Code, MOT standards and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical reviews of highway, roadway and interchange designs for compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate and evaluate multidisciplinary submissions, including transportation, drainage, structural and traffic packages.
• Review design reports, drawings, calculations and technical studies, providing feedback and recommendations.
• Engage with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to align project goals.
• Support constructability reviews and assess designs for construction feasibility.
• Review drainage systems, hydraulic studies and storm‑water management solutions.
• Evaluate bridges, retaining walls and underpasses for safety and structural integrity.
• Participate in workshops, risk assessments and permitting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Transportation Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation and highway engineering on major infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to review multidisciplinary designs and manage utility coordination.
