Senior Officer, Technology Asset Management

About the role

The Senior Officer, Technology Asset Management will lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of IT assets for SNB, ensuring efficient management, regulatory compliance, and cost optimisation across hardware, software and related resources.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, procure, deploy, maintain, transfer and dispose of IT assets in line with SNB policies.
• Maintain a comprehensive, up‑to‑date inventory of hardware, software, licenses and components.
• Conduct regular asset reviews, reconciliations and audits to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all asset activities meet internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor asset utilisation, identify cost‑saving opportunities and provide optimisation recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and other stakeholders for acquisition, tracking and reporting.
• Prepare detailed reports, dashboards and KPIs for management decision‑making.
• Support governance, risk, audit and compliance initiatives related to asset management.
• Assist with technology refresh, upgrade and decommissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT Asset Management, preferably in a large enterprise or financial institution.
• Experience with IT inventory management tools, asset repositories and CMDB concepts.
• Knowledge of IT governance, audit, risk or compliance activities is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CITAM or CSAM are a plus.
