Senior Payroll & Tax Specialist – Riyadh

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Payroll & Tax Specialist to join its GCR tax service line in Riyadh. You will work with a MENA team delivering payroll and tax compliance services to internal and external stakeholders across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of payroll processing and tax services, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Manage client relationships, respond to inquiries, and coordinate assignments.
• Review income tax compliance and calculate employee income tax and social security contributions.
• Handle withholding taxes and prepare value‑added tax (VAT) returns.
• Supervise bookkeeping activities and perform tax accounting tasks.
• Conduct health checks on clients’ tax systems to ensure ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll, tax compliance or related roles, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Experience working with multinational clients and in a multicultural environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong client‑management capabilities.
