Senior Planner – Turnaround Maintenance (TAM)

About the role

The Senior Planner (TAM) will lead the planning and preparation of major turnaround maintenance activities for Tasnee’s plant in Jubail. This role ensures that scope, schedules, budgets and resources are defined and coordinated to achieve safe and efficient execution.

Key responsibilities

• Extract TAM priority work orders from SAP and compile a comprehensive work list for the core team.
• Develop and approve the initial scope, create detailed contractor scopes, and initiate purchase requisitions.
• Prepare, route and obtain approval for job packages and related documentation.
• Use Primavera P6 to build and monitor pre‑TAM and execution schedules, including de‑commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Conduct schedule review meetings, publish baseline schedules at least four months before execution, and issue look‑ahead schedules.
• Track KPIs, monitor schedule compliance, and provide daily status reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure proper close‑out of TAM activities, confirm TECO, archive feedback, and manage material returns and spare component refurbishment.
• Lead post‑commissioning critique meetings and compile the TAM Closeout Report.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance and turnaround planning.
• Strong work ethic, safety focus, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) with working knowledge of SAP MM and PS modules.
• Experience with Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Competence in contractor and project management.
