Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead and optimise purchasing activities within our frozen food and FMCG operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all procurement processes are executed efficiently, from requisition to delivery, while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase requisitions from internal departments.
• Collect and evaluate supplier offers.
• Create and enter purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Send purchase orders to suppliers and obtain order confirmations.
• Track deliveries of open orders and follow up on any delays.
• Monitor supplier performance on a regular basis.
• Verify that received items match purchase order specifications and contract terms.
• Process cash‑purchased items.
• Undertake additional assignments as directed by the Procurement Head.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within frozen food or FMCG sectors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for purchase order processing.
