Senior Specialist – P&T Applications Support

About the role

The Senior Specialist – P&T Applications Support provides day‑to‑day assistance for business and operational systems used by DPW Jeddah. You will act as the first point of contact for users, ensuring applications remain available and incidents are resolved promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑level support for business applications, portals, integrations and related operational systems.
• Log, analyse, troubleshoot and resolve user issues according to agreed priorities and service levels.
• Coordinate with developers, infrastructure teams, DBAs and vendors to achieve timely incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Manage application access, including user creation, role changes and periodic access reviews.
• Document incidents, resolutions and lessons learned in the support knowledge base.
• Identify recurring problems and propose process or system improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in application, IT or systems support.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills for interaction with users, stakeholders, vendors and technical teams.
