Senior Tender Specialist – Pharmaceutical (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Tender Specialist with a pharmacy background to lead the end‑to‑end management of pharmaceutical tenders across Saudi Arabia. The role will focus on government tenders, especially those issued by NUPCO, ensuring compliance, pricing accuracy and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review upcoming tender opportunities on NUPCO and other governmental platforms.
• Prepare and submit complete tender documentation in line with regulatory and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate pricing submissions, technical files and required certifications.
• Track tender results, communicate award status internally and maintain strong relationships with NUPCO and other stakeholders.
• Act as the focal point for clarifications, inquiries and documentation follow‑ups.
• Ensure full compliance with SFDA regulations and institutional business rules.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain and warehouse teams to manage awarded tenders, shipment timelines and delivery to government entities.
• Monitor logistics status, resolve delivery or documentation issues and ensure proper invoicing post‑award.
• Maintain tender tracking reports, dashboards and monitor contract utilization.
• Support pricing strategies for institutional accounts and flag risks related to delays, shortages or compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (mandatory).
• Registered pharmacist (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties preferred).
• 3–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical tendering within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Hands‑on experience with NUPCO tenders.
• Familiarity with SFDA regulations and institutional business requirements.
