About the role
The Technical Service Operations GM leads the implementation of Early Detection & Early Resolution (EDER) activities, ensuring field concerns are communicated to manufacturers and that customers receive timely, accurate technical support. This senior position directly influences service quality, recall campaigns, and overall customer satisfaction within the automotive sector.
Key responsibilities
- Accelerate communication of new technical problems to manufacturers and ensure permanent fixes.
- Oversee speed and quality of technical support to service centers and the launch of service/recall campaigns.
- Maintain systems for gathering technical data from the field and supervise product managers investigating high‑occurrence issues.
- Analyze Field Technical Report (FTR) data, monitor warranty claim patterns, and manage parts demand analysis for recall initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of automotive industry experience with managerial responsibility.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
Required skills
- Computer skills for data handling.
- Data analysis capability.
