About the role

The Telemedicine Internal Medicine Registrar provides comprehensive adult medical care through virtual platforms. Working under supervision, the registrar combines clinical expertise with digital health tools to deliver patient‑centred, efficient care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct remote consultations for acute, chronic and complex conditions using video, phone and secure messaging.
• Assess, diagnose and manage patients while ensuring safe prescribing and appropriate use of digital monitoring devices.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans, including medication management, specialist referrals and lifestyle advice.
• Monitor treatment adherence and outcomes via remote patient monitoring systems.
• Coordinate virtual and in‑person follow‑up visits as needed.
• Document all encounters meticulously in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with consultants, subspecialists and allied health professionals through digital platforms.
• Provide health education, preventive care outreach and value‑based care initiatives.

Required profile

• Physician in advanced training (Registrar) in Internal Medicine.
• Registered medical practitioner with a valid license.
• Committed to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
• Familiarity with telehealth regulations and ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telehealth video‑conferencing platforms.
• Experience using secure messaging and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of remote patient monitoring devices and data interpretation.
