Architectural / Interior Design Inspector

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is looking for an experienced Architectural and Interior Design Inspector to join its UAE team. The role combines strong design expertise with on‑site coordination, quality control and implementation of interior concepts across diverse projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute interior design concepts from schematic design through construction documentation and site implementation.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and contractors to maintain design intent during construction.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality standards and resolve on‑site design issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and mock‑ups.
• Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of interior elements.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, health and safety regulations and sustainability requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or Architecture.
• 7–10 years of interior design experience, including at least 3 years in site‑based roles in Saudi Arabia.
• Portfolio demonstrating work on mosques, museums, palaces or high‑end fit‑outs.
• Supervision consultancy experience in KSA.
• Experience with international design consultancies or PMC environments is a plus.
• LEED, WELL or other sustainability certifications are advantageous.
