Assistant Community Manager – Property Management

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Community Manager to support the daily operations of our award‑winning apartment communities. Working closely with the Community Manager, you will help drive leasing performance, maintain resident satisfaction, and ensure smooth financial and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct property tours, respond to leads, and guide prospects through the leasing process to achieve occupancy goals.
• Prepare and process lease applications, renewals, and related documentation accurately and on time.
• Create and manage social‑media content to promote resident events and community engagement.
• Oversee rent collection, payment posting, and monitor delinquencies, including follow‑up calls and eviction coordination.
• Perform regular ledger reviews and assist with financial reporting for regional leadership.
• Step in for the Community Manager when absent, ensuring continuity of operations and team momentum.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment in the office, amenities, and common areas.
• Address resident concerns promptly, de‑escalate issues, and provide professional, empathetic service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred two years of property‑management experience; six months as an assistant community manager is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) accreditation is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of leasing procedures and resident relations.
• Basic financial administration, including rent collection and ledger review.
• Ability to create engaging social‑media content.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
