Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and a customer‑focused environment. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining standards, and contributing to the achievement of sales and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the restaurant team in daily operations.
• Organize shifts, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to company policies and service standards.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Monitor sales, control costs, minimize waste, and manage inventory effectively.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and support the achievement of performance targets.
• Assist in training, developing, motivating, and evaluating team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle pressure, and make effective decisions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
