Associate Director – Wealth & Asset Management Consulting

About the role

The Associate Director will help build and scale a high‑performing Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) consulting practice across the Middle East. Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as a trusted advisor to C‑suite and board‑level clients, driving new business and delivering complex strategic engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and grow engagements across private wealth, institutional asset management, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and digital wealth platforms.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline, collaborate with partners, and leverage personal networks throughout the GCC and MENA region.
• Develop thought‑leadership, proposals and point‑of‑view content to differentiate the firm’s WAM offering.
• Lead delivery of strategy, operating model, transformation and regulatory projects, managing project economics and consulting teams.
• Own day‑to‑day client relationships for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and commercial outcomes.
• Recruit, mentor and retain consulting talent, fostering an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
• Represent the firm at industry events, publish insights on regional WAM trends and build strategic alliances such as BlackRock Aladdin and State Street Alpha.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of total professional experience with a mix of industry and consulting roles in wealth or asset management.
• At least 3–4 years in a management‑consulting environment (Big 4 financial services, strategy boutique, etc.).
• At least 3–4 years in an industry role within a private bank, wealth‑management firm, asset manager, family office or investment platform.
• Proven track record of client‑facing delivery and, preferably, business‑development contributions.
