Associate Instructional Designer

About the role

A large corporate employer is looking for a highly skilled and creative Instructional Designer to join its Learning & Development team. You will design, develop and implement end-to-end learning solutions, using adult learning principles and modern instructional design methods to build interactive training that drives performance and supports business goals. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build engaging e-learning modules, simulations and blended learning materials with Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
• Apply adult learning theory and models such as ADDIE and SAM to structure and deliver training.
• Manage the full lifecycle of several training projects independently, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Design and run program evaluations to measure learning impact and drive continuous improvement.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional teams on needs analysis and content gathering.
• Act as the main point of contact for project updates and coordinate with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, Learning, Design and Technology from an approved program.
• 3 to 5 years of direct experience in instructional design, program development and training evaluation in a large corporate setting.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles and hands-on experience with ADDIE and SAM.
• Preferred: Master's degree, CPTD, CIPD Level 5, TESOL or advanced instructional design certifications.

Required skills

• Working proficiency with e-learning authoring tools, with a portfolio showing work in Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
• Ability to collaborate with SMEs and manage multiple projects.
