Oil & Gas Training Instructor (Operations)

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a qualified Oil & Gas Training Instructor (Operations) to lead and deliver training programmes in the oil and gas sector in Saudi Arabia. The role suits someone with deep knowledge of oil and gas operations and proven experience in training and development, working on site in the SMP department.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training programmes on oil and gas operations for operational staff.
• Assess training needs and tailor programmes to organisational requirements.
• Use a range of methods, including simulations, hands-on workshops and e-learning.
• Evaluate trainee progress and give constructive feedback.
• Make sure training materials meet industry standards and regulations.
• Work with operational teams so content matches current practices and challenges.
• Maintain training records and documentation for audit and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least 7 years of practical experience in oil and gas operations.
• Proven experience as a training instructor or facilitator, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• IELTS / TOEFL strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with oil and gas operations, petrochemicals, plant control, refinery and terminal operations, well services, wireline, well completion, start-up and shut-down.
• Knowledge of topics such as hydrogen, isomerisation, tank farms, water treatment and console operator work.
