Building & Engineering Supervisor

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Building & Engineering Supervisor to join its team in Jeddah. The role supports the smooth running of the property maintenance department so that all areas are kept to the highest standards, and helps improve guest satisfaction and comfort through proactive, timely responses to guest enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the property maintenance department, keeping all areas maintained to the highest level.
• Work proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, responding positively and on time to guest enquiries.
• Deliver on plans and objectives so that property maintenance initiatives and hotel targets are achieved.
• Manage the maintenance team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance.
• Own the departmental budget, controlling costs and inventory while attaining productivity and performance levels.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Deliver an effective planned preventative maintenance programme covering maintenance, environmental and conservation matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property maintenance with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent managerial skills, with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions and offer advice and recommendations.
• Hotel industry experience is preferred.
