About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join Fortra’s Sales team. In this entry‑level position you will help grow our customer base by generating leads, following up on marketing‑sourced prospects, and supporting Regional Sales Managers with qualified opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute lead‑generation campaigns for new software and services.
  • Conduct outbound calling campaigns aimed at acquiring new customers.
  • Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer referrals.
  • Manage license transfer, upgrade communications, negotiations and processing for existing customers.
  • Set up product overview demos and educate customers on their licensed software.
  • Continuously refine business analysis processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Required profile

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time‑management abilities.
  • Professional representation of the company and its products.
  • Ability to influence and persuade prospects.
  • Self‑driven, motivated and results‑oriented.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
