Business Development Representative

About the role

The Business Development Representative will drive sales and growth initiatives for ABS Quality Evaluations within an assigned territory. This position offers a pathway to more senior responsibilities within the company.

Key responsibilities

• Sell ABS QE services leveraging local affiliates’ business structures.
• Define and maintain prospect client lists and conduct regional client prospecting.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet defined regional targets.
• Provide sales forecasts and market/customer insights for planning.
• Prepare and follow up on local proposals in line with ABS QE pricing guidelines.
• Deliver client presentations and support operations to ensure service quality.
• Assist with collections and communicate regularly with the Director of Business Development or Country Manager.
• Participate in special projects and teams to support overall business development.
• Achieve or exceed delegated sales targets while adhering to expense budgets and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in the industry, especially in manufacturing or technical services.
• Self‑motivated with a proven track record in sales leadership.
• High energy, results‑oriented, and comfortable working in multicultural environments.
• Ability to quickly learn ABS rules, guides, statutory regulations, and safety policies.
