About the role
We are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Specialist to uncover growth opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and boost revenue. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to launch new initiatives and expand our market presence.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outbound outreach.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients and partners.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to implement business development strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decision‑making.
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging markets to spot growth areas.
- Track and report on pipeline progress, KPIs, and activity metrics.
- Support negotiations and closing processes alongside senior team members.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
- 2‑4 years of experience in business development, sales or a similar role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a methodical execution style.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM software.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Market research and data analysis.
- Proposal writing and presentation development.
- Digital marketing and lead generation tools.
- Pipeline management and sales forecasting.
- Understanding of B2B sales cycles.
