Business Process Consultant – Process Optimization & System Design

About the role

We are looking for a Business Process Consultant to lead end‑to‑end process optimization across multiple departments. The role combines Lean/Six Sigma thinking with strong system analysis and design capabilities to translate business needs into scalable, technology‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Map current (“As‑Is”) processes using BPMN, flowcharts or value‑stream mapping and identify bottlenecks, waste and automation opportunities.
• Design and document future (“To‑Be”) processes aligned with business goals, defining success metrics such as cycle time, cost and error rate.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, produce Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) and Non‑Functional Requirements (NFRs), and maintain traceability through design, build, test and go‑live.
• Analyze existing systems, data flows and user journeys; create context diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), logical data models, ER diagrams and API/interface specifications.
• Identify workflow automation opportunities and collaborate with IT to implement solutions using ERP, HRIS, CRM or other workflow platforms.
• Develop test plans, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare cut‑over checklists, user guides and training materials, and support post‑go‑live hypercare.
• Embed internal controls, auditability and compliance requirements into process designs where needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business process assessment, redesign and optimization.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies and a results‑oriented approach.
