Cybersecurity Architect

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Architect you will lead the design and implementation of security architecture that protects the organization’s information assets. You will work closely with IT and business teams to embed security controls, ensure compliance, and stay ahead of emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the organization’s cybersecurity architecture framework, policies and standards.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security solutions into existing infrastructure and systems.
• Design and implement security protocols, systems and mechanisms to safeguard data integrity and privacy.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends, tools and threats, recommending improvements and new technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to security team members and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on architecture, design and implementation of security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls.
• Experience with cloud security in AWS or Azure environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
