Cybersecurity Strategy Management Senior Specialist

About the role

The Cybersecurity Strategy Management Senior Specialist will support Riyad Bank in developing, implementing and continuously refining its cybersecurity strategy. The role involves assessing the current security posture, defining initiatives to close gaps, and ensuring alignment with business priorities while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and executing long‑term cybersecurity strategies aligned with the bank’s objectives.
• Conduct current‑state assessments and analyse trends, threats and data to inform strategic decisions.
• Identify strengths and improvement areas, and help define target future‑state statements.
• Support the development of multi‑year roadmaps, capability plans and investment justifications.
• Coordinate with architecture, operations and business units to ensure technological alignment.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, prepare reports, dashboards and strategic KPI tracking for executive leadership.
• Provide advisory support for integrating cybersecurity practices into business processes.
• Maintain documentation of strategic planning processes, decisions and outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies or related initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate security data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with executive leadership, business units and technical teams.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements relevant to banking.
• Ability to produce clear reports, dashboards and strategic documentation.
