Data Architecture Specialist

About the role

The Data Architecture Specialist will support Riyad Bank’s Business Data Architecture team by designing, documenting and governing the data architecture across the data warehouse, operational data repository and BI data marts. The role ensures that data standards, models and processes align with the bank’s strategy and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the data architecture framework, guidelines, processes and controls for data warehouse and BI environments.
• Create conceptual, logical and physical data models, including dimensional models for analytics.
• Document architecture standards, metadata, master data definitions and known data quality issues.
• Coordinate with BIM and EDMO teams to ensure compliance with architecture standards.
• Assess impact of changes on people, processes and systems and drive communication for smooth implementation.
• Provide guidance to resolve data architecture issues and promote continuous improvement.
• Prepare accurate reports for Riyad Bank in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree in MIS preferred.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a data architect or similar role, with additional management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and the bank’s strategic objectives.
