Devices Management Director

About the role

The Devices Management Director leads the end‑to‑end lifecycle of mission‑critical devices, ensuring they are procured, tested, deployed, maintained and retired in line with business objectives and regulatory standards. This senior position is responsible for guaranteeing device quality, operational readiness and uninterrupted service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle management of mission‑critical devices, from procurement through retirement.
• Design and enforce device management processes that meet certification, technical and operational standards.
• Oversee bulk procurement, testing, distribution and deployment to ensure timely availability for beneficiaries.
• Direct fault management activities, ensuring rapid identification, reporting, replacement and resolution of device issues.
• Set quality standards for external repair and maintenance providers and monitor compliance.
• Manage testing and certification of new device batches to satisfy governmental and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Lab & Testing teams for capability evaluation, technology updates and demand forecasting.
• Plan inventory and track device lifecycles to maintain operational readiness and asset visibility.
• Collaborate with Procurement to define vendor criteria, select suppliers and monitor performance against specifications and contracts.
• Analyze device performance data to identify improvement opportunities and advise senior management on strategy and risk.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in device or asset management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Educational background in Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field.
