DevOps Section Head

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Section Head to join the ALBAIK Development Team. The role will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable, scalable and secure software delivery.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve system reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and scaling using IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Ensure high availability, performance, monitoring, incident response and operational excellence across all environments.
• Implement security best practices, support DevSecOps, compliance and infrastructure governance initiatives.
• Evaluate, recommend and integrate DevOps tools and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting support and guidance on cloud, deployment and infrastructure challenges.
• Align DevOps initiatives with business objectives and technology roadmaps in partnership with leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering or SRE.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and containerization technologies.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring and infrastructure management.
• Understanding of cloud computing, IaC, system reliability, performance optimization and incident management.
• Experience with DevSecOps, security automation, compliance and governance is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, HashiCorp) are a plus.
