Director - Human Resources

About the role

Jumeirah The Red Sea is looking for a Director of Human Resources. The role leads the HR team, drives the property's HR strategy in line with corporate and regional direction, and supports continuous improvement, with a focus on productivity, devolved HR responsibilities and leadership capability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and support to the HR team to build knowledge, share best practice and foster a high-performing HR function.
• Develop and drive the property HR strategy in line with corporate and regional HR direction, monitoring its execution.
• Drive continuous improvement, focusing on productivity, devolving HR responsibilities and building leadership capability through senior and middle management teams.
• Ensure effective two-way communication between HR and corporate/regional HR, coordinating internal communications so colleagues receive relevant, timely messages in the right style and medium.
• Plan and deploy the annual HR budget and capital expenditure process, keeping Profit & Loss statements well managed and monitored.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, workforce planning and organizational development within luxury hospitality.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing HR teams and partnering with senior leadership to drive business objectives, engagement and operational excellence.
• Extensive experience supporting pre-openings, large-scale recruitment projects and workforce planning for luxury hotels and resorts across the Middle East.
