Director - Urban Realm and Landscape - Hospitality

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a senior leader to define and deliver the urban realm and landscape design agenda across its hospitality portfolio. The role will shape arrival experiences, external spaces, and outdoor environments that reflect Qiddiya’s vision and support commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead creative definition of urban realm and landscape concepts from brief to approved design direction.
• Articulate proposals through narratives, visuals, and presentations to secure alignment across governance stages.
• Define principles, narratives, planting strategies, material palettes, and signature elements for each hotel tier.
• Oversee consultant briefings, scope validation, and performance to ensure alignment with design intent and operator standards.
• Govern visualisation and CGI strategy, ensuring clear communication of concepts.
• Provide functional governance to project‑embedded design teams and review design submissions at key milestones.
• Coordinate integration across architecture, interiors, and masterplanning for seamless connectivity.
• Lead mock‑ups, prototyping, and landscape FF&E/OS&E strategies, ensuring quality through to landscape freeze.

Required profile

• Experienced professional with proven leadership in urban realm and landscape design for hospitality projects.
• Ability to translate strategic visions into distinctive, commercially viable outdoor environments.
• Strong governance and stakeholder‑management skills across multidisciplinary teams.
